Getting There
Depending on where you are staying in Vienna, there are basically two possibilities to reach the Energy ADE Workshop by means of public transportation.
a) Take the S-Bahn 1 or 2 (northeast-bound to Gänserndorf/Mistelbach) and get off at Siemensstrasse station.
From there the Techbase is just 6 minutes walk. If you are not living close to the S-Bahn line, you can consider reaching Floridsdorf by unterground U6 (the brown one) and the continue the trip as explained above.
b) Take the unterground U1 (the red one, eastbound to Leopoldau) and get off at the Kagranaer Platz station. Get on the bus 31A (bound to Großjedlersdorf/Jochbergengasse) till the Siemensstr./H.-von-Buol-Gasse. From there the Techbase is 1 minute walk.
Time tables and detailed information of Vienna's public transports can be found at the Wiener Linien homepage. For reference, an overview of the S-Bahn and underground network can be found here.
24h, 48h and 72h tickets for all public transports in Vienna cost 7,60, 13,30 and 16,50 Euros, respectively.
By Air
From the Vienna airport you can reach the city centre by train using either the City Airport Train (CAT, 11 Euros one way) or the S-Bahn 7 (4,40 Euros one way). Both stop at Wien Mitte/Landstrasse station, from where you have multiple connecting lines (underground, S-Bahn, trams and buses).
By Train
Vienna can be reached by train easily. All trains stop at Vienna Hauptbahnhof, which is well connected to the rest of the city by means of bus, tram, underground and S-Bahn.
