Modelling cities in CityGML: Experiences from two case studies.

  • Italy (project EnerCity in Trento): LoD2 model generated from footprints and Lidar data by means of BuildingReconstruction Software by VirtualCitySystems (after automatic process, 40% of buildings must be corrected manually). Estimated effort to extend the 3D modelling to the whole city of Trento: 2-3 persons over 1 year
